Job Description

Responsible for creating and delivering marketing materials for a worldwide (with US headquarters), business-to-business industrial products company, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely manner and company messaging is consistent.

Department : Sales

  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, company website and other marketing communication materials
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, corporate newsletter content and social media content.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
  • Develop marketing communications campaigns, including trade advertising.
  • Coordinate and deliver email campaigns
  • Manage video content.
  • Coordinate social media outreach.
  • Ability to work across international time zones.
  • Report to Director of Marketing but also take direction from Division Managers in various company locations.
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Acrobat and other desktop publishing software
  • Proficiency/aptitude to learn web design, video and other multi-media programs.
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English, and demonstrated ability to write and describe technical products for an industrial audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent writing, proof-reading and editing skills.
  • Have a strong sense of commitment, responsibility and urgency toward the work of the company.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills.
  • Strong collaborative work ethic.
  • Ability to travel as the job requires.
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, deadline oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing, or related field; or a comparable level of experience and/or education with demonstrated success in marketing communication activities.
  • Experience with trade magazine advertising and planning for trade shows
